Meet Andy Hemmings, new Customer Account Manager at Pleavin Power!
Andy has been working as a Service Engineer at Hewden for over 9 years on various plant machinery equipment. Later, he joined Finning UK as a Service controller. The role included managing the UK controlling engineers for Industrial, Electronic Power and Rail Supporting CAT engines in various applications for Breakdown and Maintenance. Specifically, understanding the customer service needs was key in order to deliver the appropriate resources to execute the clients’ requests. Therefore, to deliver an experience for customers that builds relationships by controlling the end to end repair process. As a result, Andy was maintaining a clear, honest and consistent communication with customers throughout the projects.
Afterwards, Andy joined A1 Car & commercial Vehicle Services Ltd as a Recovery Controller and worked there for another 6 years. The role included managing the clients, providing exceptional customer service and supporting the team at times.
These transferable skills and a total of 9 years of experience within customer service prove that Andy is a perfect fit for the job role. As a Customer Account Manager at Pleavin Power, he will be identifying new business opportunities, nurturing and upselling to existing customers along with onboarding and managing the new ones.
