When operators faced complex control challenges, Pleavin Power delivered bespoke systems and remote operational support
The Problem
Pleavin Power were contacted by the global leading organisation to offer support for a complex generating system that supports a specialist test cell, the system is extremely complex and built to support an extensive range of motor, pump and gear box testing scenarios at both 50 & 60Hz. The operators were struggling with some minor control system errors and operational maintenance so we built and developed a bespoke package and remote access system to allow for remote support to be delivered.
The Solution
With remote access deployed, a weekly check list developed for operators some minor training and an extensive maintenance regime we doubled the systems availability within weeks. Maintenance is now completed at two weekly intervals by our specialist team and remote support is offered whenever programming issues arrive during testing .
The Results
Preventative maintenance is now carried out on a two-weekly basis by specialist engineers.
Remote technical support is provided to resolve programming issues during testing.
The system is fully supported under an industry-leading SLA agreement.
