Overview
The Mowgli Dog Show, organised by the Mowgli Trust and Claremont Farm, is an annual event in the Wirral that supports local charity, Claire House. The family-friendly weekend features dog competitions, food stalls, children’s activities, a funfair, and live music. For the past three years, Pleavin Power has partnered with the team to ensure seamless event operations, providing strategic power solutions and advanced monitoring tailored to the event’s unique requirements.
Challenges
Operating on farmland presented logistical challenges for Pleavin Power, including navigating uneven terrain and remote locations for generator installation. Ensuring a continuous power supply was paramount due to the event’s varied activities, which included live acoustic performances, funfair rides, and numerous food and drink stalls. Coordinating with the event schedule, especially during peak times, required meticulous planning and flexible power management strategies.
Solutions
Pleavin Power addressed logistical challenges by conducting thorough site surveys and meticulous pre-event planning with the clients. They strategically positioned 4 x 100 kVA generators to optimise power distribution across the site and to guarantee an uninterrupted supply. Real-time monitoring and adaptive power management allowed Pleavin Power to adjust generator output according to fluctuating demands and to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
