Internal Growth
With a strategic recruitment drive and plan for growth over the next six months, Pleavin Power key priority was to find the right people. This week, James joins us as an additional Field Engineer and Steve as a trainee engineer. Andy, new Customer Account Manager, is also joining Pleavin Power and will help us to coordinate new and existing clients. Thus, it is an exciting time for everyone as we continue to go from strength to strength and grow our service offering. The functions within a business that suffered due to lack of resources and time, will now have extra internal capabilities. Get to know our new team members by following them on LinkedIn.
Modifications and Testing
Busy Wednesday at Headquarter! This week we had a 1250kva machine join our hire fleet. In need of some loving it has not sat around long. The machine undergone a top end adjustment, service, load bank test and controls upgrade ahead of a six month deployment in the middle of September.
Diagnostics Service
After a client suffering a failure and intermittent fault trip, Pleavin Power were called to investigate the cause. Our team used Megger Baker Surge test equipment and multi function testers. We managed to identify winding resistance readings and a failing bearing. Caught at the right time, this machine can now be removed for overhaul and repair preventing it from catastrophic failure.
Power Plant Maintenance
Our prime power package was due its maintenance visit this week. Thus, by using an N+1 system our team were able to complete the maintenance on the prime power machinery with very minimal distribution to the end user. This keeps downtime to a minimum and maximises uptime.
Equipment Deliveries
A brand new critical power package arrives at our clients HQ ahead of its installation. The Cummins C110 D5 will provide critical back up power to a local pumping station utilising our in house manufactured ATS system and external bulk fuel supply.
