At 2pm on Wednesday, an urgent request came in for a 38kVA machine after the client had been let down. Already behind schedule on a project, they required the machine as soon as possible. Our team completed a single phase conversion, PDI, load test and installation of external fuel connection and change over valve with 10m fuel lines and had it ready for loading at 10pm.
We couldn’t find a courier willing to complete delivery while our service team was stacked out. Therefore, management team drove through the night off loading at 6AM in Scotland, meeting the clients requirements and delivering on our promise to the customer. Overhaul Process
Over the week, the team progressed with the old 2000 series Perkins overhaul, with the canopy removed and alternator away for overhaul, the engine works are now commencing. As generator specialists, we bring second lives to old machines and with some attention this one can become a Number 1 for our customers’ prime power application.
The engine will receive Repairs, servicing, valve lash adjustment, replacement heater, belts and radiator before the system is reassembled and the control system upgraded. We will be making improvements to the overhauled unit as the rebuild progresses, bringing it into the 21st century.

November is shaping up to what could be a record month for the business, with services being delivered from Scottish highlands to Shoreditch. Locally, we provided Service and Maintenance for a 60kVA CAT Generator set in the early hours on Friday.
To support our clients as much as possible, we also offer Service Level Agreements, offering a range of payment options, 24/7 365 Emergency Response and planned maintenance visits. Therefore, helping to maximise the uptime and minimise the downtime.

After a few modifications, a brand new 33kVA Cummins generator was delivered to a farm on Wednesday. With one call does it all approach, another Cummins generator with PDI completed, was delivered to the client this early Monday morning.
